Toddler who deserves Christmas. Family bringing everything to make it great. But I have been a single parent this year after finding out my so called 'DP' had been cheating the whole time. And I just want to curl up and feel sorry for myself. But I can't

Didn't want to read and run. You can allow yourself time to grieve for your marriage - you don't have to be on all the time.

Start new traditions - for us this includes Christmas Eve box with hot chocolate and pjs and snuggling up on sofa. Maybe a nice candle. - you can build in some "me" time. Or maybe do some cookies etc together or colour or paint something

You will look back and realise time just the 2 of you is really special

Be kind to yourself

You need to stop looking back, and move forward. Your partner is an arse, he didn’t just cheat on you, he cheated on his child too. Good riddance to bad rubbish.

You have had a tough time, be kind to yourself and this Christmas will be better that last Christmas because you can set the agenda on what you want to do.
