everywhere I looked around town there were happy young families. I know its just a blip, I know I'm better off, but on this day I so wish I could turn the clock back and have him there like the loving husband I thought he was last year....
even though I'm so angry, he's so selfish!
I just feel I deserve so much more

you do. and it will come. but not from him, from some other lovely considerate man who worships the ground you walk on and who is fantastic and responsible and loving.

in the meantime, remind yourself of the five things your dd would say make you a great mum if she had to do you a card for a school project

thank you - I hope he's out there somewhere!
I have to go out now but will be thinking of those 5 things while I'm driving over to see my family. Thank you, I just needed a little boost to correct myself, and hopefully that will do the trick.

Don't expect anything from your ex. If he was a loving, caring man who was thinking of you and your needs and feelings you'd probably still be together.

It is tough and hurts. I hope spending time with your family makes you feel better.

take care
hugs
