I wouldn't say you'd be eaten alive but just don't say anything contentious about breast v bottle, unless you are prepared to assume a new identity....

Nice to meet you, romantick

Hi Romantick, welcome! These girls/ladies are the answer to your prayers, well some of them anyway!
Sometimes you have to check the month date when evaluating replys, but I have found this site one of the most honest and informative anywhere... for just about anything. Things sometimes get a little heated but Ive only had to change nickname once in two years!

Hi Romantick

Welcome, am also a single parent and have just joined myself - last night, was astounded at the welcome i received everyone on here seems great. Hope you enjoy it

Tess04 · 30/11/2004 00:29

just a quick PS read back through a few threads they make great reading, full of advice, support and most of all you quickly get to realise that your not on your own in the parenting game

turquoise · 30/11/2004 00:56

Hello Romantick. That was a baptism of fire . Yes there are member profiles, go to topics and then site stuff I think. Check out Discoinferno's - you'll see it's not just men who get 'the treatment'

pixiefish · 30/11/2004 07:19

Hello and welcome romantick

Stripymouse · 30/11/2004 07:43

hi romantick - good to have more men on board, helps to add perspective, variety and balance on so many parenting and life issues. I suspect that there are a few "mums" on this site who are dads in real life who just keep it quiet rather than be obviously in the minority Doesn?t help with a site called mumsnet rather than parentsnet but it is only a name after all and quicker to type in I guess
