Friendship App for single parents

Hi
I recently joined FROLO , it's an app for single parents
I'm not affiliated with it in any way I'm just making people aware it exists as I find it quite a good support group
Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have been very well advertised and there are few people on there from my area so I'm hoping the word will spread

I've never heard of it, I'll give it a look now thank you. It can be really lonely at times as a single parent, and it would be nice to have some people who understand a bit more.

@anon12345678901 no problem I just wish there were more people who knew about it (mind, I don't want to advertise it in rl too much as I don't want my ex joining it !)
They have meet ups and camping weekends etc

I’ve been put off it by them now making a dating app as well, wish there was just an app strictly for friendships!

I hope so anyway as I have no interest in that
Mind I've had a lot of men try to add me as a friend but I've just ignored them
They can't message you if you don't accept the request

Yes it made me feel like there was obviously a need to for it then and maybe people were trying to use the app as a dating site (men that have had no luck on regular dating sites Hmm )

@PumpkinKlNG I have wondered if certain people have genuinely mistaken it for a dating app. As well as those just chancing their luck
Luckily they are easy to ignore

I too have been looking for friendship apps, came across FROLO. I registered and received 4 friends request from men even though I did say only looking for female friends.

I tried Mush a few years ago when I had my first child and met a really good friend and we still are friends! But then I with my second child the App seemed different not sure how. I’m guessing because of the pandemic.

It’s difficult meeting local mums I’ve found. But I keep trying. That’s all you can really do.

I've just downloaded Frolo. I have never heard of it until MN.
