There's quite a lot on here about new relationships so I hope someone has an opinion! Am going through a very amicable divorce and am well and truly over ex and beginning to date again. I've been very encouraged so far by the men I've met as I didn't think that at 50 I'd be that marketable - I thought there'd be hardly anyone out there or they'd be majorly weird! Also, though some men are put off by the fact that I have a young child of 7, there are those who don't see it as a problem.
I don't want anything particularly serious right now, just to spend reasonably regular quality time with someone with whom I'm compatible. How possible is this when you have a young child of 7? She's not with me full-time, spends around 3 nights a week with her dad and time during the day as well. And although we have set times when we both have her, there's a degree of flexibility built-in. My ex has a serious girlfriend and my D is very happy with it and has also said she wants me to have a boyfriend! But I can't help but feel guilty about going out too often and want to get the balance right. Also, what do you think guys feel about dating women with young kids? thanks Mocca
