Kids sleeping in my bed?

Hey guys,

Over the last 6 months, I've allowed my kids (both under 10) to sleep in my bed. At first, they would come in during the night because they were having more nightmares than normal. I put it down to lockdown and allowed it.

Now, they are sleeping in my bed most nights. Are you allowing this too? I felt like I should be aware of their needs, especially during this crisis, but now I'm worried this habit will be harder to break.

Thanks.

My 9 year old is lately in the habit of coming in with us. They way I look at it is, I doubt he will be when he's 18 Grin just enjoy the cuddles while they last.

My 9yo has been in the spare room with me since start of lockdown last year. Need to get him in his own room now before it effects my marriage but he’s nicer to sleep beside than my husband, doesn’t fart in his sleep and is small so I have more room! I wouldn’t worry about it if you’re happy with it.

I left my husband in november, moved into our own place in December and the kids have spent most nights with me. I'm their comfort in this crazy world and I love having them in with me! X

Same here. They are either just going to nasty bastard xh for sleepover or just home. I figure they won't all be in my bed when they are 20.

I'm a single parent and my ds sleeps in my bed every night, he's 3. It won't last forever and I'm just making the most of the cuddles.

When I was a single parent with my daughter she slept with me every night, then one day it just stopped and she didn't want to anymore. I say enjoy it all and be their comfort while they want it.
