Not too sure what Im doing for Christmas, I suppose I should start thinking of what I should do shouldn't I! It'll probably be a good laugh, does it say much of what's going to happen or what they have planned?

MummyToSteven · 17/10/2004 21:29

i think you should go, a change of scenery would be great for you and the kids, and being hundreds of miles away from ah is always going to be good for you + I remember you wanted a cheap break anyway

FF, do go, you can come and visit me or I can visit you ;)

SuzySox · 09/11/2004 08:29

EssBee, Missed this thread - I might well come. Have you definitely booked? I am bit nervous about doing stuff like this on my own but might be good and at least everyone will be in the same boat!

Can you tell me a bit about it?

fairyfly · 09/11/2004 09:22

Yes tell us more essbee, i just have images of twenty single mothers drinking gin and moaning about how shit it is to be alone at christmas, so cheering themselves up with a rendition of wind beneath my wings sung by a couple in matching glittery suits

SuzySox · 09/11/2004 10:10

Right FF that's it I'm definitely going, the guy is bound to be behind a keyboard as well.

Hope they take requests, there's nothing like a terrible rendition of 'I did it my way' or 'New York New York' to round off an evening.

On a serious note - EssBee please tell more. I am very tempted to book

I can't go on the day trip as dd doesn't have passport - does she need one?

How old are your kid(s)? dd is 2

Ps. I hate gin with a passion, ok to have JD or vodka?
