Pink Arjuna. You dont have to let him know. Do what feels right so you can justify it to your baby when she/he is alot older. Congrtratulations on your pregnancy, it's not all doom and gloom! Do the best you can to be happy. I believe the baby is healthier and happier when mum is.

Hello PinkArjuna, I like your name - should I make any assumptions about your background and sexuality based on the name? I think that at this very early stage of your pregnancy you don't need to worry too much about him but I hope that there are some people in your life whom you can trust and talk to right now. Once you get yourself and your baby sorted out (which may take months or even a couple of years) you may find that after all you want to get for your baby a financial or emotional contribution from him, which does not have to involve your having any loving relationship with him. You don't have to decide about this right now, but I do think that it is a good idea to check up on his full name, where he lives, where he works, etc, so that it will be easier to for the CSA to find him in the future. I have a couple of acquaintances where although the father was truly useless, he turned out to have lovely parents who wanted to be involved with their grandchild and make an emotional and financial contribution, but that is something you can look into later once you feel sorted out. Please don't feel like this is all your "mistake" - it takes two to tango, and for most of us having a baby has been one of the most wonderful experiences in our whole lives.

Oh I know his full name Turnagaincat. Where he graduated, what year and everything so he should be easy to find. I also know what school he was at. I have it for future reference if things change.

Nope - pink is just my favourite colour and Arjuna - yoga sense of calm I guess. And someone else had already pinched my usual online user name
