Coronavirus.. ssp.. does it cover school closure

Background.. LP to dd 16 & ds 8 .. I work 16 hours a week, 2 full days. dd attends college. Ds goes to childminder before & after school on those days. My job is hospitality/retail which I'm on minimum pay.. small independent business so very unsure of its future right now!

My question is does anyone know if the ssp that the government is offering covers just incase I have to quarantine or for the entire time schools are closed? Will I be expected to have dd care for ds while I work (if I still have a job)? Which she does during school holidays but we are not talking about a couple of weeks holidays we are talking about possibly months plus surely dd will not be expected to homeschool ds (🙈🙈 utter carnage)?

Wonder if anyone else in similar situation or managed to get an angle on this from Boris's speech

Thank you in advance

As I understand it as a small business owner SSP is only for actual illness or self isolation.
If you require time to care for children you can use annual leave, parental leave or request unpaid special leave.
