But baby grumblebum swam a width today (ok so it was using a woggle!) but still! I am super proud.

Got no-one else to tell really, my friends are all like 'well that's nice', zero family, so I thought I would tell anyone who bothers to click onto this thread.

Anyone else think that the hardest part of this is that you have no-one else to marvel at the achievements of dc with?

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

Big shout out for you and little one, sounds like you are both doing great as a little unit together. She must be following in the footsteps of her strong mum who got an arse hole out of her life to bring her up as a strong adventurous, brave, strong child who will take after her mum. Im not a single parent but as such knowing how hard it is to raise kids in a 2 parent family with little stress, financially or emotional it’s still hard. Sounds like you’ve got it.

Fantastic effort. I like the idea of an album of achievements. That sounds like a great idea. Hope you celebrated in style. With ice cream 😀

Well done baby grumblebum and kudos to you for making sure swimming is a priority even while dealing with being a single parent!

HeidiHoNeighbour · 19/01/2020 08:20

Excellent!
You are teaching her a great life skill, not only swimming but to be resilient and to face her fears.
Give yourself a massive smile.
Time will come when she’ll look back and see all you’ve done for her.

I’m proud of you too Flowers

That is wonderful. Well done to you both
