Do you count weekends when working out half term holidays? Ex is entitled to half hols but not sure whether to split just the school week or the whole week including weekends.
There is nothing amicable about our situation (obviously) and the kids would rather spend less but I have to be as fair as possible. Would it be unfair to not include weekends? How does everyone work our holidays? Gives me such a headache working out dates.

The holiday starts the day after schools break up, and ends the day before they go back. You can't game the court order by omitting weekends.

Not trying to game, a conversation I had with my solicitor a while back she differentiated between weekend contact and holiday contact, so just wanted to see how other people work it out. Technically, according to school term dates, it always says half term starts from the Monday and ends on the Friday. Yes it seems ridiculous to question it but it's because the kids don't want to spend longer than they have to.
