Child maintenance has anyone had this happen?

So ex doesnt pay any maintenance at all, hasnt done in months. He apparently isnt working or claiming benefits. Cms said today that they will start proceedings to access his bank accounts and take money directly out of his bank account. Has anyone else had this happen? I know so many struggle with CM so struggling to believe it will be as straight forward as it sounds.

Just to add when I say straight forward I mean accessing his bank and taking money, Nothing else has been straight forward he has barely paid a penny over the years.

Sorry you are feeling anxious. What are your concerns? Will the dad be involved at all? Either way, you will manage. You've come to the right place for support, and there's plenty more of it out there for you.

Hi louise click on the “lone parents” bit at the top of this thread to go back to the main bit then at the bottom when you go back to the lone parents board it should say “add thread” hth

They tried, there wasn't enough money in the account and that was that. He's deliberately emptied them. They can't try again for 12 months.
