I posted this in another topic but I'm more interested in single mums so I thought I'd repost
'Just wondered what everyone's jobs are and have been since your first jobs and degrees etc... that helped you get there..? Also I'd like to know if you enjoy them. Just purely out of interest as a young mum hoping for her own career and interested in others stories.'

I'll start- I am 17 now. I've done some cleaning jobs and a bit of work in exchange for accommodation and food and am hoping for an apprenticeship soon!

I’ve been a single parent 6 years. Pre child I used to work in events but can’t travel with a little one, so moved into sales as an area manager. Have also been an estate agent but had to work weekends which was hard with a little one. What would you like your apprenticeship be in? What do you enjoy?

It's in graphic design which is what I enjoy so I'm really really hoping I get it! X

I'm 25. I work for an energy company part time. I work on a specialist team that supports customers with several vulnerabilities that affect paying their bills. The customers tend to have terminal illness, mental health problems, children with illnesses.

It definitely puts things into perspective for me and luckily I love my job!
