Father who doesn't pay maintenance

I can not for the life of me understand how a man cannot support his children
My ex declares a low income to tax to avoid paying me anything towards he girls upbringing
Something needs to be done
I financially struggle while he is living a nice life holidays expensive cars and I am struggling to pay my bills

I'm with you. The system is broken but the CMS will send him a text. Ffs. My kids need food.

The cms are rubbish my ex was supposed to proof low income with his wage slips last December and nothing has been done
He is laughing and I am struggling

I haven't received a penny in the 7 years my ex and I have been split. He does have regular contact however he just refuses to support them while they're with me. In the early days it was very tough and when I'd ask him for help he'd demand to know what the money was being spent on etc ..just used it as another way of controlling me which is exactly what it is for most men I feel.
In the end I just stopped asking and me and my children managed just fine, I won't say it wasn't hard and I did feel resentful when he was buying expensive gadgets for his house while i struggled to put food on the table.
The cms or whatever they were called before were utterly useless.
