Any other parents spending new year alone?? It's my first one. Last year exP had D'S. Feeling a bit upset about it. Know I'll feel very lonely

I'm kind of on my own as dh, bil and sil have all gone to bed! I'm in the lounge drinking Prosecco by myself!

I spent it with my mum until an hour ago. Then made DD go to bed as she was hanging (but NOT tired of course 😐).

All a bit depressing. Dad died couple of weeks ago so it's been an odd one.

Part of me likes to be alone. Other part feels like such a loser.

The fireworks didn't wake my DS up! But they woke me. Didn't feel that upset about it just wanted to go back to sleep!
Although now I'll have to see the social media pictures of last night. Didn't even get one single text while I was asleep from friends or family. That did hurt a bit

All mine were on social media. I hardly ever receive texts any more. It's mostly Whatsapp , Messenger , instagram or Snapchat xx

Yea princess I use WhatsApp mostly now, but didn't get that either
