non resident father lying to cms

Basically that! My ex has lied to cms about the amount of overnights he has our children so he can pay less maintenance money.

CMS surprise surprise are totally useless and say if we can’t agree on the number of overnights then they cap it at 52. To which is a higher band and hence he pays about £70 less a month than he should. In 2017 he’s had the children 27 nights!

Anyone with some constructive advice on what I can do or share similar experiences please?

Seems to me if a non resident parent wants to reduce maintenance money then the thing to do is lie to the cms!

My ex tried to do that- but they listened to me when I said he doesn't have her at all?
Maybe keep a log book of every day he has them and get him to sign it.
Then he can't argue, and you can send them copies of the log book for evidence.
