How do you handle that feeling of anger and like your heart has been ripped out (just me?) that first time another child makes yours cry?
She’s so little & sensitive, and I’m fairly protective (not over protective) in the sense that she was emotionally abused & neglected by her Dad as a baby (when I wasn’t around. He’s loooong gone now. Very long story) and so I’m a little more protective of her feelings than maybe other mums are? Just a guess of course.
Am I the only one that feels like screaming at the other child? Obviously I never ever would. Just in that fleeting moment, my heart breaks. Then I come to my senses. I don’t let my DD see me making it into a huge deal. I don’t want to raise a precious little bugger on a fluffy cloud. I just can’t help the way I feel and hope I’m not the only one???
Please don’t flame me. You don’t know the full history. I just want to know if anyone else feels like this, that’s all.
Thanks
