Single mum with toddler vacation ideas

I am planning to take my 14 months old LG away for a few days anywhere nice within the UK. Could you please give me some ideas of where we could go. I don't drive and live in NW London. So something with a short train ride would be amazing.

Also while we are here had another question. I still live in the same house as as my dh. Can't get him to leave any sooner. Would it be against the law to take my daughter away without telling him?

No courts involved yet. Still working on separating from him. He thinks we will reconcile. Bloody ferking arse!

If you can get a booking go for a holiday camp on the south coast e.g. camber sands. Lovely beaches, loads of free activities for the kids and kids clubs also so you can have a little respite. No.idea about the second question from a legal standpoint but would you really just up and go and let him.not know where his dd is?

I did haven at that age ..It worked really well. You can book a cot bed..However space in the bedrooms meant my DS had to sleep in the lounge

I'd go for haven or similar, only draw back is that you'd probably need a taxi at the other end as normally a few miles out.
