What do you do about eating at night?

Curious to know what other single/lone parents do about eating an eveing meal. Do you eat with the children, prepare a meal for yourself later, skip entirely and then snack/pick?

I realised tonight that I have drifted into not eating a meal at night. I'm not ready to eat with dd as it seems far too early. By the time she's in bed, I'm knackered and frankly not interested in cooking for myself. Unfortunately I often eat too much 'bad' food at night - though I do eat well/moderately for breakfast and lunch.

What is your routine? This could apply to mums with dh/dp who are often away in the evenings too...
