Ex partner not helping me financially

Hi, I would be very grateful for some advice. I have a 13 week old daughter. I split up with her Dad when I about 4 months pregnant. She lives with me and my ex visits 2 or 3 times a week for a couple of hours. I pay for most things for her, he will buy the odd toy or item of clothing. I would like him to make a regular payment to help towards her costs. I have no idea however how much to ask for. The amount I spend on her each week varies. How do I know how much money to ask for?
