Hows does it work financially if you have a term time only job?

How as a lone parent? what happens on the 6wk holidays for example, you would get no wages for 6 weeks? or do they spread wages over the year?

any place I have worked have split your wage over the year so that you get 12 equal payments

The pre-school I am involved with split wages over the whole 12 months into even instalments of basic salary. However, overtime is paid month on month, so in August, etc the salary does drop.

I'm term time only and my wage is divided equally over the year.

For tax credits they count the hours worked when you're working, they don't average it down to over the year.

Not a lone parent, but this came up active convos. :)
