Xh & gf taking kids out!

As the title says!
My xh & gf are taking the kids out for the day tomorrow to Southport pleasure land, Dd1 won some ticketsages ago and I didn't want to go so suggested to xh he went , and he suggested with gf. I'm fine with all that part of it, but there is far to many things to worry about!
DD2 wandering off,(I have drilled it into her but I can't find her wrist strap)
travelling down the motorway
going on rides .........

At least I know it won't be an easy ( or cheap)day for them

Nikkie, can see why you are concerned, you are with the all day and know just what they are capable of.
You can only hope that xh and gf are equally diligent.

I would just remind them of the kids little quirks (without sounding patronising) before they leave.

xh may be able to pick up a lost tag from Nationwide Building Society,(they were giving these out free) they are only plastic so will need to be checked frequently if they are still on the wrist.

its their responsibility - either you trust him let him get on with it or dont let them go

I learnt after the first couple of times - now - I just let him deal with it and dont give it a 2nd thought - wil drive you mad!!!!

Thing is a couple of weeks ago I wouldn't have suggested it, finding it so strange to actually be not bothered about xh, just what could go wrong (if that makes sense!)

BTW the other stuff I worry about anyway when its anyone else!

I haven't met the gf yet and she'll have to come to pick them up [wicked]
(either she is avoiding me or he won't let her meet me!)

Well kids have gone , dd1 saying she is not going on that ride or that one or that one , so looks like they will have fun with her!

Yes did you? AND how did it go with the kids, I take it they got back in one peice and full of it?

Have seen the gf before but always from a distance! She was ok (don't know what she sees in him though).
They got back at half 7 and are still bouncing, dd1 went on 3 rides but dd2went on as much as she was allowed!Sounds like they will have spent a lot as they have been on the games and arcades as well.

I'm not used to trusting him and I'm not used to kids going away for the day without me, so was very strange!
