Am I wrong to want a break?

Basically we have a court order that specifies my ex has 2 children 1st weekend, 3 (different) children 2nd weekend, all of them 3rd weekend then I get them for the rest of the month. I also have a little one who has no contact.
So with 6 children I really look forward to the 3rd weekend of the month so I can rest a bit (clean the house and get some ironing done) and just have some peace.
Every time he brings one if them home or they argued with him and make their own way back. Today I managed from 5.30pm - 9.30pm before he brought my 4 year old home who was upset by all the fighting at daddy's house.
Obviously I love my children but I'm totally exhausted and just need a break. My youngest has special needs and I have no local family to help out.
I think I'd rather he didn't have them at least then I wouldn't look forward to anything. He then accuses me of breaking the court order despite the fact he brings them home!!!

You are not wrong to want a break but I would suggest trying to organise it as a separate thing to contact...that way you know it will happen and the focus of the contact remains the child(ren)'s need to have a relationship with their father.

Around here there are a few places which offer qualifications in childcare and many of these students would offer a very reasonable rate for half a day of home based childcare....maybe worth looking into?

You cannot be in breach of a court order if he is the one bringing the child back.

I don't have any advise....but no you are not wring for the one weekend a month ...Are you on speaking terms , can you talk about stratergies to manage the behaviour...

It is the cop out siblings fight and it is annoying what happens when they fight at yours..they don't go elsewhere
