Today was ds3s 1st birthday

Neither his dad nor anyone from his side of the family have even sent a txt to say happy birthday.

It's also ds2s 5th birthday this month, I'm not expecting anything from them.

The same happened last year too. We didn't even recieve a text to see how ds3 was just after he was born!

So from now on, they can all feck right off! I'm not making an effort anymore. I'm sure my boys will figure out for themselves I'm the future what their dad and his family are like.

Sorry, just wanted a rant, they seriously piss me off, especially as they expect me to buy presents and their birthday parties with my sons because they're "part of the family"

Your not alone. I feel the same it seem to be out of sight of mind here. I know one aunt on that side didn't even know how old he was she has 2 kids herself I would mind but it fall In between 2 of her relativise birthdays. I very much doubt any of them remember his birthday. His dad wasn't that bothered either .
All that's matters is your with them and your the one they will remember.
That's what I tell myself anyway

They wind me up! XPs mum throws birthday parties for dses cousins (her other grandchildren) which were invited to, yet she can't even remember my sons bdays and send a text. It's not like I'm expecting them to drop everything. Just a simple message to let us know they're thinking about my sons would be enough.

Only one person out of that whole side of the family sent a message, and that was DS's 10 year old aunty. If she can remember and find 2 minutes to say happy birthday, then why can't any of the adults? Especially their "father"

Sorry, I know I'm rambling, it just really winds me up. Because I'm the one that's going to have to answer the awkward questions from my sons when they're older :(

My dc is 4 months old...so far he's knocked someone else up and his mum gave my dc a tenner!!!

Chloebw - my DS's dad left me when I was 6 months pregnant because he was having an affair and she was 2 months pregnant fucker!

Kingrollo - they make me laugh the way they think they can just turn up when it suits them and do as they please regardless of what it may do to their children.

I intend to politely tell them all to go fuck themselves next time they ask me for anything or to do anything. I'm done with the lot of them!

No he doesn't see his son with ow, however, he is now with someone else trying for another baby.

I have 2 DCs with him. One is 5 one is 1. He doesn't see either of them. I've tried all sorts to arrange contact between them but he tends to turn up for 2 weeks then the novelty wears off and he just "forgets" they exist

He is a first class twat!

And his family aren't much better. Out of sight out of mind :(

Xp didn't acknowledge dd's 1st birthday. When challenged his explanation was "she can't read". Right.
