Idiot ex is supposed to be having DS for four days from Friday. Today he announces that he has written his car off and will need my mum to drop DS to him (we live 170 miles away). When DS initially passed the phone to me, he told me about the car and the conversation went as follows:

Idiot ex (IE): "I have written off the car, I drove it into a tractor (WTF)
Me: "I assume you will be coming by train to collect DS"
IE: "curb the attitude will you"
Me:I won't be spoken to like that, I am passing you back to DS Grin

In the past, I would have got into a huge argument at being told to "Curb the attitude" but now I can see him for what he is. That is a pathetic, unemployable lowlife with a criminal record. I on the other hand, have a lovely bf and a job with prospects!!

Ps I am laughing out loud at 'curb the attitude.' Is he 12? ;-)

I do wonder sometimes!! He certainly has the mentality of a 12 yr old..
