....and still blurdy loving it! Omg something is wrong with me, I prefer my own company and easy life. Yes I've had the odd dates and saw someone for 3 weeks but it wasn't for me. I'm not lonely or missing any errrr affection....
I love my animals more then relationships..... My longest relationship ever was three months and I fell pregnant, that was 9 years ago. Nothing really since then.
Wonder how it will be when DS is all grown up and left home..........hmmm create a zoo

Nearly 9 years for me too

I love it!

Cannot imagine sharing my bed (to sleep) with anyone again. The SNORING would drive me bonkers!

Nearly 13 years for me & I have no social life and get very lonely. I work long hours so a pet is not practical & when I split, I lost everything including all our friends so have been short on company & support.

I am 47 & about to be an empty nester & frankly am terrified. I am fine with my own company much of the time but the thought of the rest of my life in only my own company is not pleasant. Finding a social life at my age is so hard as I am not religious, am not art or crafty, don't bake, & live in a small town full of old people. I would volunteer but I have to work some evenings & weekends (I am in education so marking etc). Going to join a gym but doing that is very social.

I don't hate my life but can't say I love it & really resonate with the 'alone forever' comment. Guess another reason I don't want a pet is the fear of being found half eaten after falling down the stairs/out if the loft & not found for weeks ;0)
