Dds dad supposed to call tonight

Dds dad has had written contact with dd for about 7 months now and it's been a bit of a struggle because it's not regular, it's very much when he's got time to write to her he will. So it was suggested by him to do regular phone calls. I'm happy with the idea because I think it'd be better for dd because she does a lot at school and always has something to say, however, I'm not sure he'd call. We arranged a day and time last week, on Thursday I text him to ask if he was still ok to call, had no reply, so waited until yesterday and asked again. Still no reply. He's meant to call at 6pm today. Because I've not heard from him I don't know if he'd call.

I never understand people who let down little children. It's horrible to be let down at 30 even worse when you are 6 Sad poor thing. Next time don't tell her at all that way it's only you disappoint. You're doing a brilliant job Thanks

It doesn't surprise me to be honest I just wish he had a little more respect for his daughter and some dignity for himself. Thank you.

His wife just messaged me. She was meant to let me know the other day and yesterday but Dds dad has been in and out of hospital apparently.

Of course he has Angry

Any excuse to keep getting your poor DDs hopes up

rainbowslollipops · 22/04/2013 19:31

Ironically she won't tell me what's wrong. She said its quite a bit to explain.

Hmm she got time to message you back but not to tell you the whole story Hmm

PurpleThing · 22/04/2013 20:48

Ask what ward he is in? Grin

Seriously though sorry for your dd.

rainbowslollipops · 22/04/2013 20:52

I'd love to catch them out on another lie and I often do. Wait until he's "better" and I'll ask for more details. However, his wife usually ends up telling me anyway.

Was he unconcious in hospital because I am sure the last time I was in there were telephones Confused feel for you and your DD - keep it all logged as if this is court ordered I am sure when/if it went back to court there may be a different tale told from his side or am I a total sceptic now Shock

rainbowslollipops · 23/04/2013 14:38

I've logged everything from day 1. 6 years worth of emails, texts, calls and visits. Sadly it's become a routine thing for me.
