Coming upto 7 weeks on my own

Sorry ive been quiet, been toddling on with life. Its 7 weeks on Thursday since ex has been gone, had 2 messages on facebook in that time but nothing else, not even asked about ds, not seen him..... he been out on the piss alot though the bastard.
How are you all?

Thinking of setting something up so if i somehting happens to me ex doesnt get ds....

Also no idea if there is anyway to stop him getting dc is anything happens (wish i did though)

I just feel numb now about it all....

Good, numb is the next stage, you did devastated, then angry. Numb is the start of the way up

I thought I was numb for ages, in the end I realised that actually I had already grieved the end of the relationship before we split so the split itself was like cutting chains.

Sorry for the late reply! Yeah im starting to feel some positives now, the best thing is seeing ex for what he really is and realising what a knob head is he!!!! x

Keep up the good work, its the hardest job in the world but also the most rewarding. My ex left me 3 years ago with 5 very young children 10 months old and 4,5,6 and a 9 year old. it has took everything I have to get to the point I am now but I look back and know I handled everything correctly and in the childrens best interest as they are what matters and they know it.

Marriages and relationships break up all the time and it is somthing we all need to deal with but it does feel very unfair on the children that are caught up in the middle of it expecially when it appears that the other parent dont care about them and everything is left to you whilst they do as they please.

I think thats why it bothers me so much, because ds in the middle with a dad who has vanished and hasnt even bothered trying to come see him - a facebook message in my book doesnt count as trying to see your son. He hasnt even sent him a easter egg!!!!!!!!!! I keep feeling wobbly, its probs because its nearlly 2 months now and in his books he will be able to move on when i carnt xx
