ex has new baby already?

Hi. Me and ny ex split when I was 6 months pregnant, leaving me for another woman. Contact eventually fizzled out during pregnancy, and then he saw his daughter once when she was 2 weeks old. Since then we have heard nothing, no visits, no maintenance and he has blocked my number so I cant contact him :-/. Needless to say both meand my daughter are better off without.
I recently discovered his new girlfriend is heavily pregnant, my dd looks so much like her dad I find it strange she will have a sibling so similar who she wont see. Has anybody else experienced this? And how do I go about explaining things when shes older? Thanks x

Hi Lilly! I am in exactly the same place. I don't know how I will explain things when dd is older. I cannot explain how badly her dad has treated her. I think she will gradually work it out as she gets older. It sounds like we have both had a lucky escape.

The great thing we have going for us is we can raise our kids without any drama and negative chaos from an ex with opinions on how their kids should be raised. Have you thought about going to the CSA ?

Yes, mine did this also, he met someone else within a week of us slipping, she was pregnant 2 weeks later, sadly baby was stillborn, he tried to come back last November, left the day after (my choice), she was pregnant by December and now they have a baby.

It does feel a bit strange but they (ex and g/friend) are nothing to do with our family (various issues), it does feel strange though.
