You will come out the other side pud. I dropped to my.rock bottom about eight weeks after ex left. I collapsed in a screaming.crying heap in the middle of a packed playpark literally screaming. Thankfully I was with friends. And counselling - and antidepressents - helped. It's a long road. But one day you will realise you haven't cried. You will realise you've had a good day. And you will smile.

In the meantime there are plenty of places on mumsnet to scream, shout and cry.

Unmumnetty hugs now. Hope your ok. I remember the rawness x

I am just getting to the point where I enjoy my time away from the kids - 9 months since he left.
I hated the time that I had alone, and would spend it constantly crying and moping about.

Friends let me mope for a bit, and then made sure that I had things to do on a weekend that I was alone, so I had to socialise and stop crying. It was hard at first but now I do look forward to a bit of recharging time.

I have a leisurely morning usually (often still awake early) but take cuppa back to bed and read or watch things I've recorded. Then usually have a mooch around town and get shopping done that is hard with 2 kids (finding it very useful in the run up to Christmas). I have joined the local tennis club, so try and go to club time over the weekend as well - helping me get fit and meeting new people!

I try and have one thing planned for the weekends I am on my own, which gives some focus and also stops me loosing the whole weekend.

hugs - it really does get easier - hard to see at the moment but it does
