I don't think it does, I know mine doesn't as my EX keeps working, then not working .... working then not working, no doubt it will ask in the form you fill in for your Council Tax but the amount could be changeable!

No it won't (have just been through this recently) child maintenance is fine and it won't count as income for any of your benefits.

Glad they've changed it then, when I had to claim HB and CTB years ago I had to turn over every shred of proof of income to the council, including proof of child maintenance, old bank statements, everything possible that could be scrutinised. I loathed the whole procedure and have never claimed since even when we've needed it.

Hello, child maintenance doesn't affect housing or council tax benefit. (Although I believe it affects other benefits like income support etc) Spouse maintenance however does affect HB/CTB.

You'll still need to declare it, as with all income/capital, but will be disregarded in the calculations.

Child maintenance doesn't affect any benefits these days. It used to years ago, but not any more.

I had to tell them the a,punt but I was told it is disregarded. Hope that helps.
