...has been this way for 4 years ..& now keeps changing his mind.re contact
eg last two trips to his have ended with 'im never seeing you two again ( dc is 2.5 yrs ) uses blackmail to keep control when he can; eg im moving back in but only if we have a relationship otherwise im gone ; and no help at all of any kind ( is that supposed to be a choice?) ;
i hung on in neutral space, cool but accomadating him groping me ( eurgh ) and irritating us both, trying to keep everything ticking over on our visits as we are very isolated- moved away from any freinds/ family/ familiarity of old home to rural village, and dont drive,

anyway. finally had enough. he turned up today, having told me last week i/ my family/ freinds were all shite, and that his family think im just using him , with lots of stuff as if he was moving back in; we only agreed on a few nights to see dc a week.i flipped, and he left.he is about to start a well paid job & think he thought that would change everything. i cant have him back as he's emotionally abusive, has a controlled drink problem, is a mysoginist, & doesnt really like me.! how can i ensure this doesnt continue as he can still just 'turn up'.

Please don't let him move back in. You need to make your feelings absolutely clear, and if you can't afford a solicitor to do it, write him a letter yourself, keep a copy and send it recorded delivery. Make sure you state exactly what you want eg he is not to turn up at your house unless picking up/dropping off DC at agreed time, he is not to phone, text or email you except to arrange contact, offer contact on dates and times that suit and make it clear that he is not to turn up or expect contact at other times.

Good luck.
