This is silly.... But since my ds was born 10weeks ago I've been at my mums house and I am going back to my house today on my tod.

I feel much more capable now, and I miss my independence, but god I'm nervous!

My mum thinks I'm making wrong decision and I should stay at hers permenantly, so I've agreed that me moving home can be a trial and if it goes tits up and I can't cope I will give up my house and move in with her permenantly. So essentially, this has to work!

Anyway, this is rambling, I'd best bugger off and pack the car. Eeeek!

You will be fine on your own with ds!! My dd is now 3 and I have been on my own since she was tiny and its hard but it is great too! Hope it goes well! Good that you have a supportive mum that will let you stay with her if you are struggling!

You will be absolutely fine Smile I remember my first few weeks alone when DD was tiny. It is scary and tiring bit so rewarding and worth it.

You will get so used to doing it by yourself and in your own terms. My DD is 2 now and we are so independent I am finding it hard to find room for my new dp in our lives Grin

Thank you for the positive stories, its so good to hear other people are doing this as well!

We arrived back to find a massive street party with fairground rides and alsorts of wonderful bands and things. It fely wondeful.

Now to get through bath and bed time.... Gulp!
