Thanks

TheCinnamonGiraffe · 07/05/2012 20:45

I will have a listen. Thanks Kitty.

Grockle · 07/05/2012 20:54

Must remember to listen on iPlayer. Thank you

Meglet · 07/05/2012 20:55

yes, I heard it today. Must set the clever freeview recorder to get the rest of the weeks programmes.

sandyboots · 07/05/2012 22:16

brilliant - thanks for posting this Smile

kittyandthefontanelles · 08/05/2012 16:56

No problem. Hope it's useful. I missed it today I'm afraid.

they do podcasts if you've missed it

kittyandthefontanelles · 10/05/2012 01:30

Thanks butterflybee but we don't have computer access at home, only on phone so can do listen again, podcasts and such like. I'm not a lone/single parent but am an avid radio 4 listener and thought it might be of interest. I heard the first one- the attitudes represented were truly shocking. Beautiful name by the way.

I meant CAN'T do listen again, etc.

Kitty - can you put iPlayer on your phone and listen again there? That's what I do on my phone.

kittyandthefontanelles · 10/05/2012 19:53

Oh really, grockle? I'll give it a go then. I've actually never tried because I've always assumed there wouldn't be enough bandwidth (if that's the right word!?). Thanks

Kitty, if your phone connects to your wifi at home it's fine.

Thanks for this. I'm off to listen now whilst I'm packing :)

EdlessAllenPoe · 10/05/2012 20:35

yes, als R4 fan here..

the nurse who was divorced and single who had people call her a prostitute to her face!!

very shocking.

Grockle · 10/05/2012 20:54

No-one's ever done that to me!

kittyandthefontanelles · 10/05/2012 23:36

Ooh where are you off to, Charlie? That's the bit I heard, edless. She went from respected nurse to prostitute overnight because there was no man in the house. I was horrified. This was the 70s, I'd like to think things have changed now.....?

I'm moving kitty. Would love to be going somewhere exotic though!

I don't think people run with the prostitute line these days. Hopefully not anyway :)

I hope they don't think a single parent lowers the streets house prices either!

Thanks for posting this, it got me through 2 hours of paperwork sorting and filing which I was dreading!

kittyandthefontanelles · 11/05/2012 07:46

Ah now, you see I think there's nothing better to do filing/shredding to than radio 4. Glad it was worth a listen, enjoy your new home!
