the next meet up is wednesday 19th october from 1.30-2.30. it is being held at Silver End Children's Centre. (near witham). even if you havnt got your children with you on that day, still come along and get the chance to meet other single parents in similar situations, you can make new friends share stories and even any worries if you want.
if you would like more information replay to ths message.

hello rakelalexandra, its good to hear from you :)
where abouts do you live.
our group is for single mums and dads, we meet up 3rd wednesday of each month the idea of our group is to have our own support network so we can give each other advice help each other out, anything from decorating skills to taking child to school if a parent is unwell. we are linked in with our local sure start childrens centre so we have all their staff's expertise and help if needed. the group session itself ideally is for the first half hour both parents and children getting involved in play, the children's centre has a massive creche room with so many toys so we can get toys to play or we can sit and all get involved in an art activity wether it be gluing and sticking, painting, drawing etc. its fun :) the second half hour is more of a chance for us parents to sit and chat, get to make new friends and ask any questions, worries etc. i hope this has been helpfull to you. hope to hear back from you soon.
take care, katie xx
