I've Been Accepted At College

I separated from STBXH last August and have been contemplating what to do when my youngest starts school. I decided on training as an Operating Department Practitioner and so have applied to do an Access in Health and Social Care.

I had an interview this morning and they called me back and said they have accepted me and I will start in September.

It will be a logistical nightmare for a while as DS2 starts Reception in September and I will be out of pocket with child care costs but I am hoping the end result will be worth it.

Well done. Sounds brill. It'll be worth all the hassle in the long run! X

Fantastic! Congratulations!

Yes, it will take some logistic organisation but everthing will fall into place, you'll see....

Oh wow, that's brilliant! I'm doing a PhD and have two (second born in third year) and the uni have been really good about letting me go part time. Childcare costs are a nightmare but just focus on getting through it and think how great it'll be to be qualified and able to provide better for your kids after (that's what I'm hoping at least...)
