child has never seen father

hi is there any single mums out there that there child has never seen their dad?how do you deal with banging into them ?

is it that he doesnt want to see his child? is that why they dont have a relationship? sorry for personal question, just if you want opinions, they might be different depending on whether he doesnt want to see child, doesnt accept/know he's the father (sorry no insult intended), you dont want him to see child or whatever. how you deal with it would obviously depend on the circumstances that have led to this. you know?

Hello my DD is three and has only ever seen her dad when she was 6 months old... and he didnt speak to us or aknowedge us, it was a court hearing for child maintainance stuff... Im living a bit head in the clouds because he is in Austalia but as we are due to go back next year for three weeks to visit his parents i am starting to stress about what to say.. do etc... His folks are awesome and we are very good friends, he has never aknowledged she is his even after dNa stuff. but has just started to pay the CSA. I just try and keep the matter black and white with DD. He lives in ahouse behind his folks and i just tell her that he lives with them and is a a long way away. earlier this year she got cluey and realised that he doesnt send her cards or pressied and nana and grandad do.. so she didnt want to send him anything. but alas today was card shopping for christmas and when i went down th list asking who she wanted to sned a card to she said she wanted one for daddy. Wether she will want to send it when time gets closer im not sure. but i have always felt its my role to ensure that i dont stop her from contacting him. sooner or later she will work out her own choices. I add we move back to Australia in two years time....

Hi just watching fathers for justice! I have two kids g3 b3mths neiter have seen their dads md ds dad was violent and only ever wanted to see her very late at night and then started to get nasty We had just got back together again when I got preg She is fine not seeing her daddy but I always have told her that he didnt make me happy I think most people are bothered about what other people think. My son dad dont ask! he lost his first wife so two adults two kids us together but following my PLANNED pregnancy he became depressed and did all sorts now already has another girlfriend who I think is pregnant he wants to forget he ever had another child his loss in my view my kids have everythin and a happy mum If I bumped into either one I wouldnt bother to even give them the time of day

Hi, my ds has never seen his dad either or even been acknowledged by him, he made us do the dna thing as well. I don't know what I would do if I ran into him (I would like to say that I would batter him within an inch of his life, but I guess I wouldnt do that with ds there! pity!).

hi thanks for getting back. funny how things dont seem so bad once you sleep on it. i think i just panic because my daughter was there. my story is simalar to wizbang with her son.my daughter and i are really happy and he hardly ever gets brought up much in away that you forget he excits. then all of a sudden your aware that he does and he looks really like her. he was with his new girlfriend who also has kid with him.my daughter is 8 by the way and she was not aware that he was there she last seen him when she was 1 so thinks she never seen him.
