how do i find landlords who accept housing benefit?

i have been living with my mother and her husband since i had DS, but now I want to move into a house of my own, I have bond and first months rent available but I have no clue how to find a landlord that will accept housing benefit?
To my knowledge agencies don't generally accept it so looking online/at boards on houses is pretty much a waste of time.
Anyone know where I can find these elusive fellows?

I know there's not much of chance that you'll reply to this, but do you still let to families that claim housing benefits? And in which areas. I have a child and my situation is honestly becoming worse and worse and maybe it's fate that I've come across this forum, but I thought that I'd give it my best shot. I'd love to explain more about what it's been like for me. It's been hard for my daughter and she's honestly the only thing that motivates me to continue, to not let my situation become worse. I don't really know what to do anymore and I've thought about giving up, but I can't. Hopefully, you'll be able to help.
