My DC moved schools recently due to problems at the last school and i had a fantastic set of friends that i made while stood in the school yard well i thought they where fantastic friends but obviously not as since i moved my DC schools not one of them has contacted me and now with no one to really talk with meet up with i am feeling extremly isolated and finding things getting on top of me as i have no one really to talk to have a laugh, DO THINGS GET EASIER OR NOT

Have you contacted them or are you expecting them to contact you? Ime you need to be the one making the effort to stay in touch.

The thing to realise is that you've moved your DC away because you feel the school has failed / let them down. Their DCs are still at that school so they don't necessarily want to hear comparisons & how you've done the best thing. I'm not suggesting you would gloat but your common ground is your kids.

Have you phoned any? Have you invited any of their DCs who were friends with your DC over to play still?

Things will get easier. Lots of kids change schools for lots of reasons. You will start to have a laugh with mums at new school.
