Do you have a double or single bed?

Sorry if this is a bit personal but i am going to be buying a new bed once i've moved and was thinking,do i buy a double or single?

I have absolutely no intention of living with anyone again (other than my kids and my dog)maybe i don't need a double?

But i am used to the space,my dog snuggles on the bed with me,hmm.....ideas?

I have a double, my bedroom isn't that big and I'm not tall. It's exactly what I wanted, leather frame with padded headboard, storage underneath and a memory foam mattress. It's my favourite thing in my house.

Trouble is though, DP came on the scene late last year and he is 6ft 1! We use it as an excuse for him to wrap himself around me instead of stretching out.
