My xh's name begins with B and I can't bear seeing his name every time I scroll through my phonebook, so I ended up putting him down with the W's (rhymes with Anchor lol), but now the dc's are getting older and can read, I will have to rethink!

you could put a symbol at the front of his name > maybe, so it comes up at the end of the list.

maybe put xh-b*** (with the last bit being his name) to keep it near the bottom?

I precede the number of my ex's with X. That way, they appear at the bottom. I don't want to delete the numbers so they still come up if they for some strange reason call.

I don't have his number, email or any contact details in my phone at all. I know what they are and I don't want to see them when I go through my contacts.

Plonker...I had his real name for about 2 1/2 years and then changed it about 6 months ago. When I realised he was never going to stop being one, it just seemed appropriate that his name was changed.

exH is currently listed as "dad" in my phone - it was actuall the phone I bought DS1 for Christmas - however he's had it confiscated and replaced with a very very very basic one that I had lying around for a while..........so I swiped his phone to use as I rather like it and he'd saved xh on there as "dad" - so there he is as that for now

twopeople thats a very good point, i have him under X(his real name) so he's at the bottom, but i guess it does show that he still riles me up just by existing!! Cant wait for the day that his name doesnt do that to me :)

And it does make me smile when I look for the number, it's in the same place as it always was as the first three letters are the same.... I did have his real name, but wanted something cheerier for when I got the unpleasant texts

I had my extremely nasty ex down as 'dementor' from Harry Potter, because like them he sucked all the joy out of life . However, I no longer have contact with him so no need for his number.

Mine waw going by the name nob on my phone for a few weeks at one point but before and after that he is usually under his real name.

I'm loving 'dementor' mine was definately one of those while we were together but now he doesn't have that effect on me.

I'm tempted by 'dodger' as he dropped ds off yesterday and dodged yet another load of dates where he can't have ds for the night (on the one night of the week that e has him) as he has nights out planned.
