My 14 year old has just spent 1 night with his Dad having refused to go for 6 months as his Dad tended to plan appointments and entertain friends while ignoring the boys while they were there and they hated going (other DS still wont go). He came back last night and ExH said actually DS could have stayed another night - apparently it would have been acceptable to leave a 14 yr old alone, while he worked a night shift! I said that would in no way have been acceptable and he kept going on about 'it would be fine - I would be a phone call away' The man is in the POLICE! AARRRRRGGGGHHHH!
Rant over!

This would annoy the hell out of me. But for contrast my friend at work's DS stays in the house alone while she does nights and he is 13.

I bet a lot of us read the title and feel the same. Can't live with them, would love to live without them but can't :-)
