I've just seen someones status on Facebook and it said screw valentines day it's pancake day on the 16th. That would make it Wednesday, not a Tuesday. Bet they didn't check the date before they posted it.

Anyway I've just looked it up and it's on 8th March this year..

Pancakes yum.It is mine and dcs usual sunday morning treat,I luurrve pancakes esp with maple syrup,ds likes lemon and sugar and dd will scoff em with anything!

It's shrove tuesday and ash wednesday. So pancake day is always on the tuiuesday no matter what the date is...

Oh and I care about valentines day! I have a card for my ds (as always) and he will get one from his American grandparents too I should think as they have always sent one in teh past (big event over there).
And I have got him a heart shaped cookie for his lunch box and some heart shaped jellybeans too.

Like anything it's what you make of it :)

Dammit - the lady in the supermarket told me it was tuesday!!!!!! Now i look like a proper twit :D never mind... we'll still be having pancakes!

If it was shrove tuesday this week you'd not find a single pack of ready made pancakes, batter mix or jif lemon anywhere on the shelves. Dead giveaway if they are there that it's not this week

This is a good one.... my divorce papers are dated the 14th of Feb!!!!! - you would think that they could have waited one day to write them up! ever since its been divorce day for me :) which is something to celebrate afterall !

It might be another month until pancake day but we had pancakes for breakfast this morning (and yesterday morning) .
