How do you get to meet other single mums?

Hi everyone,

Is there any threads/websites that put mums together according to where they live?

If so many of us are lonely why aren't we getting together? why be alone on NY eve? or on weekends when we could really be having fun with each other?

I for one, would love to go out for a drink, a laugh, a meal, a dancing lesson or a hug and few tears, whatever it may be! But why aren't we doing something to try and meet each other?

I need friends who are in my same situation.

and I have no family around me so it can get very lonely and Boooooring!

Hi, try Netmums - they have a local noticeboard where you can post. Try the 'Meet a Mum' board, there are bound to be loads of other lone parents in London who want to meet up :)
