How Do I Tell The Father He's The Father?

I've just found out I'm pregnant and I don't know how to tell the father.

We have been seeing each other on and off for a few months, but nothing serious. I really don't know how to approach it...

Any advice would be gratefully welcomed!

Um, hi X, I am pregnant. It is yours.

In a place he can't kick off.

Depends what you want to say to him.

a) 'OMG i am pregnant, can you drive me to the clinic next Wednesday for a termination' vs
b) 'I am pregnant, let's book the wedding before I get too fat' vs
c) 'I am pregnant, I want to keep the baby and be a lone parent'.

Also depends on which of the above he would most like to hear you say under the circumstances.

I take it it's not likely to be b) for both of you then?

If you are going to keep the baby, you need to start as you mean to go on, so have a big think about what you want from this situation. Obviously his reaction will have an effect, but if you have an idea of what you expect of him it may be an easier discussion.
