Hi
I have a friend who has no children, she is 30 and has made it very clear she never wants children. she works FT and met her this morning, she is stressed with work. i work at same place but PT and single parent. i just dont feel she can understand what it is like being a lone parent and the demands of a toddler, she wont you'll probably say. but what i find difficult is if i say i have looked after ds all day and been stressed that it just isnt the same as working FT. i may be misinterpreting, but i find it difficult understand why she doesnt want to understand or think it as a big deal doing everything on your own and juggling things as LP. she says she is finding it hard to go to gym while she is working full time and hard to keep up with things. if only she knew Angry Confused

Some people are oblivious to the chaos of small chidren. My stepmum doesn't have kids of her own but she helps out loads with her BIL's kids and my kids, she often says she had no idea how hard it was Shock.

FWIW before I had kids I knew life was much harder for people juggling work & kids. Other people just potter along in their own bubbles and don't realise.

Ask her to babysit Grin.

Meglet, good idea.i really should not judge her and i feel awful,i should probably keep quiet when it comes to talking about children or my situation. think it may be a bugbear of mine as ex (still husband) could not understand either, as he works FULL time as he kept drumming into me and it is lovely to spend time with ds and EASY Angry. yeah, it is.whne you dont have full responsibilty and they come to you dressed and fed with everything they need in a bag and you get to take them to the farm or the park, then drop them back off
