actually want to start up a relationship with a woman with 4 children?

Especially a woman who teeters on the edge of financial meltdown depsite being very resourceful and quite brainy...?

I'm really liking this thread!

I'm not looking right now, but nice to know there is hope in the future when I'm no longer such a weirdy weirdo.

MrsReality you then (minus the weirdy weirdoness I'm guessing Wink)is me now!
Hope I get a happy ending like yours, and all the others on here!

hobbgoblin, I'm pretty sure you'll have no bother finding your Mr Perfect- saw a pic of you earlier, you're gorgeous (and clever) Smile If I was a man, it'd take a lot more than 4 children to put me off.

It's really just meeting one in the first place isn't it?

sophiesmiles · 14/08/2010 07:54

hobbgoblin can I ask where you are from?

Ready4anothercoffee · 14/08/2010 08:03

Been seeing a lovely man that I met through church, I have 3, he has 2, makes for fun times :), He's aware of the arse xh, but still thinks he's the luckiest man going.

Wasn't looking, was determined to stay single...

megsophandemma · 14/08/2010 08:07

Ahh I was down the other day thinking the same thing about me. I mentioned it on a thread. Some of these stories have given me a little hope. Thanks for starting this hobbgoblin.

BarmyArmy · 18/08/2010 01:25

My stepdad took us (3 near-adolescent) kids on and he and my Mum are still together (she had zero assets due to my Father being a knob with money).

Mind you, 24 years later it is obvious they are very much in love and have staying power. Sadly, most people are rubbish and give up when things get tough.

I'd wager the majority of good news stories on here have less good news to impart in 2 years from now.

FallingWithStyle · 18/08/2010 01:35
Hmm
ValiumSingleton · 18/08/2010 09:34

Don't know statistics, but my parents' friends son just married a girl with 5 children. His parents aren't happy it has to be said!! But...... they are.

Angelcat666 · 18/08/2010 12:55

I have two (teenagers), and have some financial difficulties. I've signed on with Match and a couple of others so will see what happens.

Supercherry · 18/08/2010 16:52

Wow, how nice to read some positive stories :)

So, there is hope for me too then- hoorah!

Single mum with 2 little boys- it all seems a bit undoable sometimes.

Supercherry · 18/08/2010 16:58

How depressing Barmyarmy?

blackflyinyourchardonnay · 19/08/2010 14:06

Ah yes Barmyarmy-there are many "rubbish" people with "no staying power" on this board Hmm
Tsk.
If only everyone was as perfect as your mum and stepdad, eh?

blackflyinyourchardonnay · 19/08/2010 15:54

Actually, I've just re-read your post Barmy, and think I may have taken it the wrong way.

If I have, then I appologise for my snarling.
One of those days.(no excuse though)
Sorry.Blush

blackflyinyourchardonnay · 19/08/2010 15:55

I apologise also for my terrible spelling.
