Hello - not sure whether this is the right place to post this but having read other threads on MN on single parent houseshares I thought I'd give it a shot.
I'm a 34 year old single mum with a 7 month old son. We're currently based in Maida Vale in a 1 bedroom flat which I own but am hoping to rent this out and rent somewhere bigger with a garden to share with another single parent with a child of a similar age. Am currently on maternity leave (returning part-time in Jan 2011) and work in the city (lawyer).
Would be looking to rent somewhere from Dec/Jan and would be interested in renting in NW/W/N London although location is of course up for discussion, far more important is that we get along! (location can be sorted out according to both parties needs)
Is there anyone out there who might be interested in exploring this as an option for them too? Would be great to share childcare, wine housework and DVD collections.
