Blackpool October half term break with Single with Kids

I've been looking at the holidays with Single with Kids. I'm quite tempted by the Blackpool half term trip.

Has anyone been away with them before? It's £190 for three nights for DD and I which seems reasonable value. And I figure if it's awful, three nights isn't that long and there's an indoor swimming pool which is all she'll be interested in.

Anyone fancy coming? LifeofRiley will you have passed your driving test by then? No pressure .

Looking at your link, I'm pretty sure you'll be based at Ribby Hall holiday village (I live near Blackpool). It's a very nice place. I have taken my children horseriding and swimming there and we have also been for meals in the restaurant on the site. Even if you don't click with any of the other people on the trip, I reckon it would still be good value. Having said that, I've never stayed in one of their properties but it does have a good reputation!

I've been on a few Single With Kids breaks and had a complete ball but not this one (yet !). The trip got a couple of good reviews on their forum though so I could be tempted I'm just not sure of contact that week Blackpool posts
