I am so scared to move in this area with my daughter please help

Hello everyone,
i am a single mum and i am buying a house for me and my daughter and i have an offer accepted in Noel Park, however after visiting multiple time the area i am not too sure i want move forward, i live in hackney and already got attacked 4 times. I frankly don't even want to live in london but i am looking to invest here and then resell as soon as the father gives me consent to go back to my country with my daughter but is a long journey in court.

anyway i am not sure Noel Park is safe and i can proceed? Any thoughts?

also i saw another house more in the west side towards alexandra park is in any better there?

or should i just move even further out towards enfield chase? Even though the house i found there is a tiny 52 square meger cottage.

my daughter is 3

please help me i am so scared to do this on my own and anxiety is really taking over

No i work from home i run my own bussiness but he doesn't even give me consent to take her outside of london and like i said is long in court to get things sorted. So i can stay within london because i have to mantain proximity with the father

I'd go as far North in London as you can - Enfield or Barnet. Noel Park is not the best. You should really be checking out schools too

How is he preventing you from moving out of London?

No you don't but the court sees very badly loosing proximity to the father to be frank and to be honest i am not even from england i don't drive i don't want to go further out in a place i never even lived before so since i don't even like the Uk i rather stay in london and hopefully get out as soon as i can

If you’re planning on moving away in a year or two don’t buy, the London market is a poor investment at the moment in my opinion.

I am sorry but how is this even the topic of my question. I am asking advices about areas of london i don't want to get into my personal situation.

Noel Park is basically the back of Wood Green so I’d say no to that. Where is the house that’s near to Alexandra Park? That’s a nicer area but you need to check the schools, will you be in the catchment for APS?
What is your budget? Have you looked at East Barnet, Southgate, Enfield, High Barnet?
As you WFH you don’t need to be that near to a tube station etc so you can broaden your search

Look just a little further, Bounds Green, Arnos Grove, New Southgate, Oakwood. Enfield is a bit cut off transport wise so stay near the Piccadilly Line

Wood Green is a bit ropey, especially at night but if you are keen on that area, yes Alexandra Palace is better

Whatever your budget is give it to us, everyone here is literally brilliant at finding the best bargains in property

I live in SE London in a really nice area and if you tell me your budget I will say which are the best in my area
